Brazen thieves snatched a BURGER VAN from outdoor the owner’s home – an incomplete view of dozens of witnesses.
But they didn’t increase the alarm, believing the group was ‘legitimately’ moving the quick meals van.
Now, the devastated proprietor has stumped up a £500 reward for the return of his ‘livelihood,’ and he informed Birmingham Live: “I can’t believe a person’s nicked it – it’s not the kind of component as a way to go ignored.”
Rocky Lewis, the owner of Rockstar Kitchen, had left the van outside his house on Kimberley Way, Castle Bromwich, while the thieves struck at 10 pm on Wednesday, June 19.
Rocky has built up consistent alternate selling burgers, jacket potatoes, chips, and jerk chook from his pitch on Lower Dartmouth Street, Small Heath.
But he’s been ‘ruined’ via the theft, which has now left him without paintings.
He stated witnesses noticed 3 men wearing hi-vis jackets, eliminating the van from outdoors of his deal with.
And he said the crowd made ‘a number of noise’, as they have been unable to dispose of the wheel clamps.
“It was trailered away via three white men in hello-vis apparel, riding a blue Transit van.
“It could have made loads of noise because the wheel clamps had been nevertheless on it.
“If all and sundry have clapped eyes on it, I need to realize. It’s got three serving hatches and storage at the back.
“Quite a few humans witnessed the van being taken. However, no one stepped in as all of them thought they were legitimately transferring it for me.”
Rocky said the van became his ‘livelihood’ and had been doing consistent business since he took over his pitch in January.
“Now I have been left with nothing,” he said.
“I can’t accept as true with people have nicked it.
“It’s not the sort of factor you can park up in front of your property, and it’ll go unnoticed. On the other hand, there’s a small prize of £500 for any information main to the recovery of my van.”
The theft was reported to police, who are investigating.

The term fast-food diet is an oxymoron! True, if you eat fast food regularly, you are surviving on a diet that consists of fast food. However, you are not, in fact, on a fast-food diet. A diet, in every sense of the modern meaning, as it applies to weight loss or healthy eating, cannot come even close to being in the same family as fast food. We are not even talking about distant cousins, twice removed, re-instated through marriage… We are talking about the fact that there is no such thing as a fast-food diet. Fast food can be utilized occasionally to replace healthy food because you are on the go and have no access to food that you have prepared yourself. It is a temporary fix for the problem of not having access to healthy food. However, it is not meant to be eaten solely in a “fast food diet.”
