Two catering corporations have their food hygiene rankings downgraded after dozens left ill

The Singapore Food Agency (SFA) has downgraded the meal hygiene ratings of massive neighborhood catering companies after over 45 people fell sick after eating meals organized by the two companies.

In one case, 21 humans said having gastroenteritis signs and symptoms after eating meals furnished through Pro*three Institutional Catering at 41 Hillcrest Road — the deal with National Junior College boarding school — in March this 12 months, the SFA said on its website.
The SFA said it would monitor the firm’s premises and evaluate the “ring” in one year. The downgrade took effect on June 17.

In the alternative case, 24 people suggested gastroenteritis signs and symptoms after consuming food supplied via Chilli Api Catering at Shimei East Kitchen in Bedok North Street five in December last year.
The SFA will hold the company’s profits under surveillance and assess the “score in 12 months. The downgrade took effect on June 18.
