An owner of a sweets keep at a market in Jacobpura turned into robbed on Friday night time through a man driving a scooter, who allegedly snatched ₹10 lakh from him. The police said that they’re checking the pictures of CCTV cameras mounted near the spot to identify the snatcher.
The incident comes almost a month after a garment store proprietor was robbed and murdered near the Jain temple in Sadar Bazar. According to the police, Yash Kalra, the victim and proprietor of Hari Sweets, turned on foot toward his car, parked near his shop, around 10. Forty-five pm, while the accused guy snatched the bag of cash from him. “I commenced walking in the direction of my automobile. I turned into carrying my bag, which contained around Rs 10 lakh in cash, from sales over 3 days. Suddenly, a man on a scooter came and snatched my bag. When I screamed for help, my body of workers ran after him; however, I could not catch him,” Kalra stated in his first data report.
Ranjeet Singh Bhayana, a propoent in the district courtroom, who lives near the spot, stated that the CCTV cameras hooked up at his residence captured the incident. He delivered, “There have been at least four guys doing a reconnaissance of the location close to the shop.” Kalra, Bhayana, and at least 20 different businessmen of the marketplace in Jacobpura met Sumer Singh, DCP (west), on Saturday morning and mentioned the difficulty.
Dalvir Singh, SHO, Gurugram metropolis police station, stated, “The photos are grainy, and the accused and the variety of his scooter are not in reality visible. The police are investigating the case.” Kalra stated he’s concerned about the deteriorating regulation and order scenario for buyers. He said, “I have requested my kids to search for a career opportunity.” A case was registered against the accused under section 379A of the IPC on Friday’s Gurugram city police station.
